“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way – in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.”

A Tale of Two Cities (1859) Charles Dickens

Well the last update for 2015, as the year closes out.  It would be prudent to look at the absurdity of it all, especially in light of the events in Syria, the Islamic death cult activated by Western oil allies in the middle east, with everyone else caught in the crossfire; that would be, obviously, Syrians, Europeans and Americans.  For the sake of oil now at $38 a barrel.  Nice.  Economic preclusive purchasing in reverse to deliberately crash the oil price, the front lines are Saudi Arabia and Russia.  All the while four nuclear powers: France, America, England and Russia bomb a country the size of a small US state, at the same time the religious cult members reside inside the countries committing the aerial bombardment of Syria. The senselessness of it all, would be absolute if it was not for that cheap oil being pumped furiously via the Saudis to appease the West.

Then theres the South China Sea cold war between China and Japan…

I will be exhibiting four new pieces (includes the image above) in a gallery show (December 18th) at the BSG in Melbourne, Australia.   For enquires contact the BSG

My new book will be out in 2016

Some quotes:

“There is nothing more mysterious than a TV set left on in an empty room. It is even stranger than a man talking to himself or a woman standing dreaming at her stove. It is as if another planet is communicating with you.”  Jean Baudrillard, America

Just had to add this one:

“Science is the ultimate pornography, analytic activity whose main aim is to isolate objects or events from their contexts in time and space. This obsession with the specific activity of quantified functions is what science shares with pornography.”  J.G. Ballard, The Atrocity Exhibition
