Amidst research and writing my new book, studying the Large Hardon Collider experiments which look for particles that were created in the early stages of the Big Bang.  Images like the one above are recorded through the particle accelerator detectors.  We are duplicating the creation of the Universe inside a massive particle collider.  The hope is to find the hypothetical particles/matter that were formed after the Universe exploded into existence.
